Feeling Overwhelmed with the Many Faces on Facebook – How Panic Away Can Help

When I was talking to my girlfriend she said she had something to talk to me about but was a little embarrassed. When I make a friend request on Facebook it’s amazing how much anxiety I feel over whether they will confirm me as a friend or not. I wait with such anxious thoughts….what if they just ignore it…what if they don’t even want to be my friend? What if they don’t think I’m worthy enough? And if they do accept and see that I only have 50-60 friends do I look like a failure because they might have 200, 300, 400?” These are not just passing thoughts, but something that she dwells on and consumes her. She confessed that when she gets herself all worked up she thinks she’s having an anxiety attack. If I don’t hear back from the person for days I can’t seem to let it go. The more I think about it, I can feel my heart beating faster, my hands get all sweaty, I feel so jittery and light headed that I have to sit down. The worst part is that I don’t know how to calm myself down.

Why do we constantly compare ourselves to others and put so much emphasis in trying to be perfect and successful. Why do we feel such a desperate need to be approved or accepted by other people?

While each of us needs to practice our own self-love and acceptance there’s no doubt that fear and self esteem issues are at the root, but these irrational thoughts would come at her so fast that it was impossible for her to stop the feelings and sensations….because she didn`t have the tools to know how.

Barry Joe McDonaugh`s Panic Away Program has been extremely helpful for her. She has practiced his One Move Technique for several months now and with all the useful, practical information he has provided in his Panic Away Program she can now stop these thoughts when they come into her mind so that she doesn`t experience the full blown panic attacks any longer!

It has given her a sense of confidence because she is back in control of her thoughts and she is no longer obsessed with people’s approval. After she went through the program she knew it was worth the effort, the mind is so powerful and it’s a battle to overcome anxiety but she did it!

How Meditation Can Give Panic Attack Relief

Many people find Panic Attack Relief from practicing meditation. The popularity of meditation has grown and is being practiced by people of all races and ages. This practice has shown to slow down the heart, and relax the nervous system and mind. Many people find it effective at relieving anxiety and tension, as well as being a reinvigorating experience.

Through regular practice our nervous system can learn to cope with life’s pressures and stresses far more effectively. Through meditation we learn that we are more than our emotions and thoughts, because we can learn to control them. Understanding this will make you realize that you can control your thoughts and actions and ultimately where your life is heading.

Being the master of your own mind means that you can choose to think positively and let go of any thoughts that may harm you. Focusing on negative thoughts only bring about negative emotions and sensations that can trigger stress and anxiety symptoms. Anyone can learn how to control and let go of their thoughts. Meditation can bring inner peace and mental clarity and help in Managing panic attacks.

The mind and body are interconnected and through centuries this knowledge has been utilized. When the mind is in a positive state it ultimately affects how we feel physically too. Anxiousness, worry and dread; these cause physical symptoms such as tiredness, irritability and tension. When we are tense, blood and oxygen flow becomes restricted. So by meditating we can improve oxygen flow, which is essential for the functioning of the brain and body.

Relaxation can help to lower the acidity level in the body and increase the alkalinity level, improving both physical and mental health. When the acidity level is too high in the body it can cause dehydration, stress and poor brain functioning. Eating properly is also a simple but effective way in How To Prevent Panic Attacks. Eating lots of fruit and green vegetables to keep your ph level balanced.

Most people have lost the art of relaxation. When we get a headache or we feel tension in our shoulders and neck we tend to ignore the cause of it. As well as affecting development, excessive stress depletes energy and can lead to health problems. But you can learn to overcome stress before it becomes a real problem.

Daily and life pressures make it difficult for some people to find the time to relax. Often we push too hard, even when highly exhausted and stressed. Relaxation doesn’t help to restore energy and clear the mind, it actually helps to improve mental concentration and work efficiency.

We often forget the power of the human mind and body and it’s natural ability to heal and recover, even from some diseases and conditions. It’s normal to not even think about our breathing as it’s automatic. However when we do think about our breathing and really pay attention to how we breathe, we realize how little we really utilize them.

The positive effects through deep breathing can be instantaneous and absolutely anyone can practice this. Those that do practice breathing exercises daily find themselves calmer and much more able to handle the stresses of daily life. Why not give meditation a go and see how much it will change the way you feel.

Learn How Panic Away Helps Sleepless Nights

Over the weekend the following situation arose and I’m going to tell you how Panic Away helped. I had gone in last week to see the doctor because of severe pain in my upper stomach that was going all the way through to my back. It was very painful even taking a breath in, for days I could barely move. It was an overwhelming pain that I’ve never had before and I was very nervous about it. My doctor sent me for several tests including blood work, an ECG and an X-ray, he said that he wanted to rule out any blood clots, tumors or walking pneumonia.

After I had the tests, the doctor’s office called while I was fast asleep on the couch and I missed their call. I checked my voice mail that evening and heard a message saying, “Kirsten please call the doctor’s office.” I immediately grew anxious and very concerned, my doctor knew I was already coming in on Monday so why the call on Friday afternoon! Now I had to wait over the weekend! They must have found something I thought to myself and now I was very alarmed!

Horrible thoughts started to swirl around my head, I made up several worst-case scenarios in my mind and then I realized that I was heading down the slippery slope of an anxiety attack. I immediately asked myself what I was scared of and I confronted the fear head on…not an easy thing to do but it worked! I applied Panic Away’s One Move Technique™ and could instantly feel myself gaining back control and calming down. Being able to relax, I was able to have a restful sleep. For the rest of the weekend, whenever I felt the anxious thoughts creep up on me….and they did, I quickly applied the One Move Technique™ , it takes only seconds to implement wherever you are, and it returned me to my normal self. This same situation years earlier would have left me in such a panicked state I would have called all my girlfriends trembling with fear and unable to sleep at all.

I am so thankful for the Panic Away program and all the wonderful things it has taught me. Just coping with anxiety is not good enough. The Panic Away program teaches you how to free yourself from EVER having another panic attack. You will never fear having another panic attack again if you can break the cycle of fear with this amazing tool.

Usually a panic attack begins from being in a situation that causes excessive stress or fear. In some cases they can be completely out of the blue, like in cases of panic disorder. Is there a reason for these attacks and can they be stopped?

Commonly, people who have these attacks suffer from an anxiety disorder such as social, phobia, agoraphobia and panic disorder. Under-diagnosed and often misconceived, social anxiety is a debilitating condition that usually develops in adolescence. Fear of being embarrassed in social settings, being ridiculed in public, being criticized frequently; these can all attribute to this disorder.

Research reveals that children receive much more criticism than praise, and are taught a lot of negative habits and beliefs. Even into later years, negative associations and conditioning can have a firm grasp on a person’s character. A majority of sufferers go onto live their lives without social Anxiety help.

Social anxiety is the last of the anxiety disorders to be discovered, and people with this disorder were previously thought to be simply shy. Unlike shyness, people with social phobia have extreme feelings of fear and being embarrassed in social situations as opposed to experiencing embarrassment.

A student might miss their first day at college so that they don’t have to introduce themselves; going on a date the young women expresses extreme shyness and seems even to avoid speaking; an office worker calls in sick on their day of presentation; a colleague might drink excessively to cover their anxiety at a party; and a shopper might shop late for groceries when the shops are quiet.;

It’s fine to feel a little anxious, but just choose to accept these feelings as excitement instead of fear. Reassure yourself with positive statements and tell yourself that all you need to do is present what you know.

The more you practice acting confident the natural it becomes to you. You might feel sensations such a pounding heart but it’s important not to focus on these sensations. Take time to breathe and relax yourself and realize that you can get through it.

It’s natural for the fight or flight response to start in situations of fear, but you can choose to direct this energy into making your presentation exciting instead. It’s how to stop a panic attack; when you stop thinking of these sensations as part of an anxiety attack you automatically overcome the fear.
