If you feel run down and ragged from all of the responsibilities that you are dealing with, the stress you feel if not dealt with will result in depression and even anxiety.
Millions of Americans suffer from unhealthy levels of stress at work. (A study several years ago estimated the number to be 11 million–given events since that time, this number has certainly more than tripled–studies in Sweden, Canada, and other Westernized countries show similar trends.)
Tranquilizers, antidepressants, and anti-anxiety medications account for one fourth of all prescriptions written in the U.S. each year. We may find ourselves in a situation that is somewhat difficult to deal with from time to time. Most of us have tremendous amounts of responsibilities that can be anything from work, kids, parents, marriage and on and on. We all know the world is not a very friendly place and it usually bombards us with endless problems. If you feel that you are being loaded down and you’re not quite sure what to do with it, perhaps it is time to look at your situation and see if you can unload some of your problems.

One of the first things that we should do is to make a list of all of the things that we consider to be a burden in our life or something that is causing undue stress. Some of these burdens will be ones that we can’t do much about, such as dealing with marriage, which can be stressful from time to time.

Other burdens may be heaped upon us from outside sources, such as work and although we would like to be able to get rid of these causes of stress, it is not always going to be practical for us to do so. Still a third type of burden is one that we tend to put on ourselves, unnecessary pressure because of wanting to do something but not realizing that it was going to add so much stress to our lives.

By realizing what areas of our life is causing the most pressure we can better evaluate how to deal effectively with the stress it is causing. If you are working too many hours at work and feeling the pressure of it, try to balance your workload better. If your kids are running you ragged, figure out the problem areas and deal with them one at a time starting with the easiest problem to address. In order to best reduce your stress and anxiety is to take it one step at a time. Even though you may have the big picture in front of you, you still need to look at smaller pieces of the picture as to what you were going to change. Every time you remove or deal effectively with an area of burden in your life you will see that it will become much easier to deal with the rest. Are you overwhelmed with life and feeling anxious, stressed out or even depressed?

Learn the natural ways to relieve stress, anxiety and depression with a massive ebook collection by Mia Johnson. Learn how to deal with stress and anxiety the natural way

Adults need some time to play too and studies show that today psychologists are not just using “play therapy” for kids, but for adults as well. You will feel more relaxed, more calm and happier once you’ve tried the Panic Away program.

So take a hint from kids and play away stress and anxiousness with these simple techniques:

Time to Play:

1. Fight Worrying with Music. Either listen to music or play an instrument. Studies show that simply pounding on a drum, table or even pots and pan helps you to let go of worries bottled up inside.

2. Soothe Your Nerves with a Board Game. This one really works for me. Being a single mom with 2 boys there comes a lot of stress but when my boys ask me to play a board game it requires me to concentrate and it really does distract me from all the stress and anxiety. Here’s a bonus: Statistics show that people who play board games have much lower incidence of Alzheimer’s.

3. Blow off Tension. A great way to relieve mental and physical pressure is by Blowing Bubbles! It refocuses your breathing, slows your heart rate and allows your diaphragm to take in more air, so adrenaline levels and stress hormones decrease.

4. Negative Energy Goes Bye-Bye with Dancing. Dancing is exercise so get up and dance with your kids or around the living room the next time you vacuum. Dancing can help to reduce high cholesterol, blood pressure and strengthen your heart.

5. Calm Your Stress by Painting. Painting allows you to express yourself, your emotions and fears. Just paint whatever you want, just like kids do, you will feel more happy and more energetic.

6. Play with Clay. You will relax muscles and release frustration with the motions of pushing and pulling clay or Play-Doh.

Remember it’s okay to act silly and have some fun. And if you have kids do it along with them, it’s a great way to spend fun, quality time together!

So don’t wrestle with your anxiety another day, let panic away melt it away!

You’re not alone, if you’re finding it difficult to find the time to relax and de-stress. Trying to constantly rework their busy schedules many find themselves getting even more frazzled . People seem to be far more tense today than they use to be, studies show 8 out of 10. panic away can help you!

Try These Quick and Easy Relaxation Tricks:

   1. Repeat yourself and feel more at ease. If you’re having a hard time turning off your stress try using a mantra. So go ahead, press the pause button on anxiety by repeating a spiritual word or phrase. Your brain will start to recognize the word or phrase with calm.
2. Think of someone else to get an immediate “calm”. Thinking with compassion, kindness and sympathy for someone else calms stress and reduced stress in the body, protecting you from heart disease and diabetes.
3. Stretch. Yoga or yoga-like stretching melts away tension and helps you feel rested the next day.
4. Don’t forget to eat breakfast. Those who don’t tend to feel more fatigued and stressed later in the day.
5. Move around to chill out. If you move for just 10 minutes a day that alone can reduce stress.
6. Clenching your fists or tightening your shoulder muscles help anxious people o relax. Clench your fist for 7 seconds then release.
7. Try yawning. When you yawn, more air and oxygen enters your lungs, revitalizing your bloodstream and calming you down.

Panic Away was created by a long time anxiety sufferer Barry Joe McDonagh. Thousands of people have eliminated their anxiety by adopting the One Move technique.

Panic Away can help you to feel less stressed, more calm and in charge of your anxiety!!

An easy way in Controlling Panic Attacks is by practicing slow and deep breathing exercises. When you change your physical state it has an impact on your mental state. During an episode the body experiences a spike in adrenaline and stress hormones. A sufferer may experience terrifying anxiety and panic symptoms as a result.

When a person experiences an episode, their breath-rate increases dramatically and becomes shallow. There are a number of reasons why managing your breathing helps to control panic attacks. By diverting your attention to your breath, you become more relaxed. Combining the use of positive imagery and suggestions can serve to calm and distract the mind.

Anxiety attacks often trigger hyperventilation. Hyperventilation causes an imbalance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the brain causing confusion and alarm. The result is a cycle of panic and fear that fuels itself. Controlling the breath can help in Stopping panic attacks. Breathing exercises can help to stop sensations from getting out of control.

As soon as you sense that you might have an episode, divert your attention to your breath and inhale deeply and slowly. Visualize air pouring into the lungs to their fullest capacity and then slowly exhale. Repeat this until you feel yourself calm right down. People find that a paper bag useful during panic attacks as it helps regulate breathing. As you exhale, it’s a good idea to release any tense areas on the body to help you physically relax. Some people like to think or a serene and beautiful place or a happy memory while doing so.

Spend some time in the day changing your thoughts and composure. What you feel physically transcends emotionally, so if you feel physically distressed you will be mentally so. People usually ignore symptoms of anxiety and stress until they become a real problem. Face tension, headaches, shoulder and neck pain; these are all easily remedied by simply taking a few moments to breathe and relax.

Take notice of what your body is telling you both internally and externally. Take regular short breaks from what you’re doing; walk around or get yourself a drink to relax. Loosen up your body and take some deep breaths whenever you feel stressed or anxious. Furthermore, be watchful of what goes on in your head. What you constantly think is going to affect your emotions, so best not to be focusing on negative thoughts.

Work on keeping an optimistic and upbeat attitude throughout the day no matter what happens. When at home, leave all your work worries behind and spend some time on yourself. Don’t let your daily stresses control your emotions. Sleep problems can arise when we take worrying thoughts from the day into the bedroom.

Sleep panic attacks are much more likely to occur in sufferers who worry at night time. By making healthy lifestyle choices and committing to practicing positive habits daily, you can experience better health and sleep. Try to exercise on a regular basis and try relaxation exercises to help expel stress hormones and adrenaline from the body. Participate in endorphin releasing activities such as; listening to good music, sex and laughter.

Performing regular physical exercise is a simple means in how to stop a panic attack as it helps reduce anxiety. The build up of adrenaline and stress chemicals can be reduced by exercise, helping reduce feelings of tension and anxiety. Another benefit of exercise is a boost in self-confidence and motivation.

Exercise equals less stress, meaning less wasted energy, and more physical and mental energy. By exercising regularly you encourage deeper and more restful sleep at night. A refreshing night sleep is a wonderfully natural way to restore energy and enhance mood and wellbeing.

A lot of people avoid exercise like the plague. The ones that do start, may go for a few weeks and give up because of laziness or from lack of results. But there is a better way to tackle exercise.

Fact is, you don’t need to go to the gym to exercise, and it can be fun. Why not get into a sport, or try martial arts, swimming or even yoga, which are great for you physically and mentally. You can also choose to exercise at home with your own fitness equipment or fitness DVD. With less stress hormones in the body, the brain and body can function at better capacity.

Other cures for panic attacks include relaxation activities and meditation. When we feel physically relaxed we feel mentally relaxed which is why physical relaxation is such a benefit. There are many people who think that the only time they can truly relax is when they’re on vacation.

This is certainly not the case. It doesn’t matter where you are, relaxation can be practiced anywhere. So even if you’re at the office, waiting at a bus stop or listening to the kids scream you can take control of your emotions.

Once you master relaxation you can use it as a tool in times of stress or when you need a time out. When the mind isn’t inhibited by negative emotions it can perform at a higher state. What this does is put you in the right frame of mind to tackle what the day throws at you. When you think with clarity, your mind functions with rationale and logic, and this can help you dissolve anxious and fearful thoughts which can lead to an anxiety attack.

It can seem almost impossible for some to relax their mind for even just a few minutes. Really, it just takes practice of relaxation and breathing exercises. Combining visualization techniques and positive affirmations is also a great way to combat anxiety and stress.

The practice of meditation goes back thousands of years. It’s believed by some that to meditate it takes years of dedication to learn but it’s not true. It isn’t just reserved for those looking for spiritual enlightenment either. It can be that, but it’s also a tool for deep mental and physical rest and relaxation.

Regular meditation will help you remain relaxed throughout the day and deal with stress much more easily. Relaxation throughout the day is key in helping improve anxiety. Over time you may see a dramatic positive difference from these simple Tips For Panic Attacks.

People who’d rather not take medication for anxiety may choose a natural panic attacks cure such as herbal alternatives and essential oils. People may choose natural alternatives since there can be risks involved in taking anti-anxiety medication. Apart from the possible side-effects of medication, there is also risk of becoming addicted to them. Many people prefer the idea of natural alternatives such as aromatherapy and herbal remedies since they carry far less risks. The following is a quick look at these two alternatives.

Natural remedies; Perhaps one the most commonly used herbal remedy is St John’s wort. The widespread use of St John’s wort in Europe as a prescribed alternative to treat anxiety disorders such as social anxiety and Generalized Anxiety, has made other countries take note. The active ingredient it contains is Hypericin, which helps alleviate depression and anxiety. The use of St John’s wort in Germany has been extensive as an anxiety and panic attacks cure.

Lab tests prove that against a placebo, St John’s wort shows effectiveness. You can buy St John’s wort in most countries without the need of a prescription. If you are taking other medication, ensure that you check with your doctor first before taking St John’s wort. Some herbal remedies may have adverse drug interactions.

When feelings of anxiousness and stress become constant, the stress response can trigger unnecessarily causing a panic attack. It’s been proven that relaxation as well as exercise is a powerful stress reliever. Standardized Valerian extract is a safe and non addictive sedative which has been used for centuries and again is widely used. Widely available and easily obtainable this natural remedy can help reduce anxiety and sleep problems.

Kava, Lemon balm and Hops, are also soothing herbs which can help to reduce stress and muscle tension. Most remedies can be bought as tinctures, capsules or teas at good health stores. Your natural Panic attack remedy should have a listing of the recommended dosing on the label. Even though herbal alternatives are considered safer, you should avoid the temptation of taking more in attempt to gain a stronger effect.

Another natural alternative to remedy anxiety is the use of essential oils in aromatherapy. Essential oils may be blended together to create your own personal blends. Breathing in aromas released from essential oils can trigger the production of feel good chemicals promoting relaxation. When we laugh or engage in pleasurable activities, the same natural good feel chemicals are released.

When we are fatigued and stressed, we feel sluggish, irritable and unmotivated, and our bodily functions have to work much harder. The use of essential oils can have a profoundly relaxing effect on the mind and body. Stress hormones rise in the body when we don’t relax enough. A relaxed mind and body sleeps and functions better. When a person is well rested from a good night sleep, their mood and energy improves.

Lavender, Rose and Chamomile all have soothing and relaxing qualities. They can be used in massage with a carrier oil, in infusers or added to baths. You can add a few drops into an infuser and enjoy the aroma in anyone room. Aromatherapy can work as an effective natural panic attacks cure. You can also enjoy the calming effects of herbal teas such as peppermint, chamomile and passionflower.

A relatively new therapy, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique has been used successfully by thousands of people for Managing Panic Attacks. Other alternative Cures For Panic Attacks include, hypnotherapy, reflexology and NLP.

EFT is simply a Meridian Energy Therapy, similarly to acupuncture or acupressure. Commonly used in the practice of Chinese medicine, acupuncture uses long needles which are inserted lightly at precise points on the body to unblock disrupted energy flow in the meridian system.

EFT works in the same way by balancing your energy flow and disruptions. Relief from emotional distress and physical ailments can be very quick since the meridian system is worked on directly. Unlike Acupuncture, EFT uses the fingertips to stimulate the meridian points by tapping on them.

It’s been long known that the mind and body are connected and that one affects the other. When we experience stress or negative emotions, it is a disruption or blockage in our energy system. Harmful build up of chemicals such as adrenaline and stress hormones then lead onto anxiety and Panic Symptoms.

Practicing the tapping sequence brings about balance in the energy system, releasing built up stress hormones and adrenaline, which relieves symptoms of anxiety and stress. When stimulating the meridian points the person must use positive statements in combination. This is why EFT is so effective at healing the mind and body because the core problem is identified as well as treating its negative effects on the energy system.

More and more people are using EFT and reaping the benefits of this simple and natural technique. It’s use stretches beyond managing panic attacks. People have used EFT for sleep problems, depression, weight problems and even addictions. Applying EFT is very easy and only takes a few minutes to learn, since you can ignore the science behind it and just get stuck in. You can find lots of free information out there on the Internet showing you tapping sequence in detail.

The tapping sequence is just half of the EFT practice the other half is about focusing and acknowledging the problem. Write down the physical or emotional issue you want to fix so that you begin the technique with a clear outome. It is important to use self accepting and positive language when using affirmations. A healthy love and respect for oneself is healthy for the mind and body to grow and develop positively.

EFT doesn’t require any tools but your fingertips and can be applied at anytime, making it convenient for managing panic attacks that occur out of the blue. You will find that by using the technique to manage negative emotions and symptoms that your stress and anxiety will dramatically reduce. Affirmations are best used out aloud but merely thinking about them may also work. Some people may feel a little self-conscious practicing EFT in public but you’d be surprised how little people pay attention.

Although thousands of people have benefited greatly from EFT it is something that needs to be practiced regularly for consistent results. Don’t simply do it a few times and give up. Once you see the benefits, you can also apply it to other areas of your life. Regular practice will gradually improve the energy flow in the body.

Recognizing stress and actively working to reduce it is an effective Cure For Panic Attacks. Difficult as it may be, everyone is capable of learning how to control and reduce stress. There are many factors that can contribute to stress such as financial problems, relationships and redundancy. Even little things can build up like a domino effect and effect us emotionally and physically, like being late for an important meeting, working overtime or having to deal with a family crisis.

Sometimes life can feel that it’s getting on top of us, especially when we experience symptoms of stress and anxiety. Common symptoms of stress include; muscle ache, headache, inability to concentrate and tiredness, which can trigger further symptoms.

Anxiety disorders can be caused by frequent experience of stress. By dealing with stress more effectively you can help prevent and eliminate anxiety disorders from developing. Most people go about their day ignoring their stress levels but this can have a detrimental effect.

Frequent experiences of stressful anxious situations and emotions can have a negative affect on the mind. These factors can lead to negative behavior patterns which are difficult to change and break out of. Anxiety disorders like social anxiety and General Anxiety Disorder are often the result of negative conditioning.

A person who has suffered stress may not notice the effects it is having on the mind and body from day to day. Learning to identify stress and listen to the body’s need to alleviate stress can help reduce the harmful effects. Reacting to stress positively is a habit that can be learnt and will make a difference to wellbeing and happiness. Making lifestyle and behavioral changes is a simple preventative cure for panic attacks.

One way to reduce stress and it’s effects quickly is to apply the meridian therapy Emotional Freedom Technique. Using the fingertips to stimulate the meridian points on the body with positive statements is a natural answer to How to stop a panic attack.

Stress is an overproduction of adrenalin and other hormones, when these hormones are not expelled quick enough, we may experience a spike or an anxiety attack. It’s important for us to expel these stress hormones. Practicing Emotional Freedom Technique is a great way to do this as well as exercise. In addition, physical exertion is a great cure for panic attacks since it helps relieve bottled up feelings of anxiety and fear.

Constant feelings of stress and anxiety can lead to psychological disorders and condition such as anxiety, depression and insomnia. Some people wake up and feel that they are not in control of their thoughts and emotions, and they might wake up in a bad mood, with negative thoughts about themselves and the rest of their day.

What we all need to realize is that we do have control of our thoughts and emotions. Of course you shouldn’t feel like you have to go alone, since seeking support from family and friends can help you get through anxiety and stress. It’s also advisable to seek advice from your doctor as they may recommend Anxiety Help such as counseling or therapy which can help you cope through a difficult period.

It’s not surprising that a number of people would prefer Coping with panic attacks without prescription medication. When’s the last time you’ve read or heard in the news of a death of a Hollywood star from overdosing on anti-anxiety or antidepressants? In actual fact, prescription medication causes tens of thousands of deaths annually. Reasons are usually due to taking too much or mixing medications.

The problem with anxiety medication is that it only treats Anxiety Symptoms and not the cause of it. Other concerns for patients are that anti-anxiety medication can be addictive and cause unwanted side effects. Prescription medication shouldn’t be abused and instructions on use should be followed carefully.

Medication might initially help in Controlling panic attacks but in the long term they will lose effectiveness. Many patients unaware of the dangers, take more medication to counter the tolerance build-up. In some instances doctors may even advise on increasing dosage. Risk of danger also increases when different medications are taken.

Fairly common, is that men who suffer from anxiety disorders resort to alcohol for coping with panic attacks. Medication and alcohol should not be mixed as this can be a dangerous combination. Since medication does not deal with the underlying reason for anxiety attacks it’s fair to say that it is an ineffective cure.

It’s fair to say that a natural method for controlling panic attacks is a more ideal solution. A meridian energy tapping technique known as Emotional Freedom Technique is one such method. By tapping on the body’s meridian points EFT can help balance energy flow and disruptions. For some, this might sound like a pie in the sky technique that won’t work. People who practice EFT will tell you that the body is connected to the mind.

During an anxiety attack, a sufferer notices the physical symptoms that manifest. The nausea, the tingling, the shortness of breath, the chest pains and so on. The triggers however are psychological, such as fear, phobias and beliefs. It’s the mind that triggers these physical symptoms. What we feel inside ultimately manifest into our physical actions and vice versa.

This is why therapies such as acupuncture, reflexology and EFT can help a great deal in controlling panic attacks. Growing in common use are therapies such as NLP made popular by Anthony Robbins and hypnotherapy. Often underrated are simple lifestyle changes that can have a major turn around on mental illnesses. Simple steps include eating a healthy diet and getting a good dose of cardiovascular exercise daily.

Changing the way you think and behave is also important for getting over anxiety. Your negative beliefs and worries drive anxiety. By working on changing your physical and mental state, you can become much more happy. Success in all aspect of life comes from motivation and pushing for goals that achieve happiness. Get creative and start new hobbies to keep you busy and learning.

Connecting with other people is a great way to relieve anxiety and stress and grow more confident. Take the time to work on yourself by reading self-hlp books and learn to be the controller of your mind. Give yourself time to recoup and relax through meditation, taking a hot bath or simply listening to some soothing music. Coping with panic attacks also means avoiding triggers such as stress, unnecessary worrying, and caffeine and alcohol.
